Mailin & Darwin’s Wedding

Mailin & Darwin’s Wedding was on 11/24/12.  This phenomenal couple celebrated their 10 year anniversary on the very same day of their wedding.  They are certainly made for each other, during all the times we got together to plan this wedding, there was not a moment of affection and you can see the love they have for each other.  This couple choose Red Roses throughout their decor because it represented LOVE and they really wanted to make it a significant choice they also incorporated white and black damask as part of the theme throughout.  Keeping with the theme of LOVE, a Violinist was playing during the guest arrivals, and during the ceremony.  The Bridesmaids were wearing beautiful long Red of the shoulder dresses that were flowy and the maid of honor was the same but in black and they all looked stunning.  The bride selected the bridesmaids bouquets to be white roses and the maid of honor white and red roses which was beautiful.  The Ceremony was held in the Gazebo @ the Miccosukee Golf and Country Club in Miami, Florida which used to be called Kendall Lakes Country Club.  There are a few things I truly loved about the reception besides the views to the golf, I love the antique chandeliers, and the stonewall fireplace.  The Guests enjoyed cocktail hour at the bar inside the reception on the bar lounging area with Live entertainment.  The bride wanted to keep the cocktail hour separate from the reception area therefore the sections although they were in adjacent open rooms, was separated by white pipe and drape and accented with Amber and red lighting. Mailin & Darwin’s Wedding cocktail hour decor was tasteful and simple, the bride chose round glass cylinder vases for each cocktail table filled with water and glass beads and each had 3- floating red rose candles.  The guests also enjoyed a movie clip with pictures of the couple throughout the last 10 years which was created by the bride. Mailin & Darwin’s Wedding tables were decorated with damask disposable cameras for the guests to use, and a very tasteful detail on the plate, the bride chose to use black napkins pocket-folded with a single rose inserted and on the bottom of the napkin a damask tin mint box was placed, and the table was finished off with scattered red rose petals and candles.  The guests also enjoyed a Candy Station by Crown Confections. There was no doubt that all the decorations and the brides every little detail was though out to perfection!

Congratulations to Mailin & Darwin I wish you both lots of Love and Happiness in the years to come, It was a great pleasure to be part of your special day!
